When someone marks your YouTube channel by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the video primary info bar, your channel will get temporarily blocked until reviewed by YouTube staff.
Canagon manages YouTube channels and Ads for some of our customers. From time to time, some accounts get banned. Someone will always mark your content as harmful, whether it is by a mistake or your competition having fun, it will happen sooner or later.
Timeline real world example:

The whole process may take only a few hours, as you can see, we did appeal 20 minutes after the suspension. Make sure you act fast if you are about to start a live stream or if you are planning an advertising campaign.

If this happened to you for the first time, your channel will be probably blocked right away. Don’t panic, just appeal the suspension by submitting the Unable to access a Google product form.
When someone marked your video or channel, they get one of the following choices to narrow down why your content is being reported:
- Sexual content
- Violent or repulsive content
- Hateful or abusive content
- Imminent physical harm
- Harmful or dangerous acts
- Child abuse
- Promotes terrorism
- Spam or misleading
- Infringes my rights
- Captions issue
Flagged videos and users are reviewed by YouTube staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to determine whether they violate Community Guidelines. Accounts are penalized for Community Guidelines violations, and serious or repeated violations can lead to account termination. Before you click on the Unable to access a Google product form and begin with your appeal, review your content, and make sure you don’t violate YouTube policies like the Community Guidelines and copyright policies.
When you proceed, you will get to the appeal form, make your case, be specific and short. Just briefly explain why you think your channel was suspended in error.
To make your case move faster, be short, specific, include your channel URL that begins with https://www.youtube.com/channel/*, and act as soon as you are sure your content is not in violation of YouTube rules.
